This property at our Sarpy Creek Ranch has several options to build above a draw and spring (on nieghboring property). There is an old ranch road that goes through the heart of the property. The Sarpy Creek Ranch property is in one of the smallest counties of Montana. Located in Treasure County and the “Sarpy Hills” it is home to elk, deer, antelope, wild turkey, pheasant and other wildlife! The hillsides are abundant with wild flowers and native grass. The property has scattered stands of ponderosa pine, cottonwoods, aspens and berry bushes. It is surrounded by high bluffs and ridges with access to over 600 acres of state land. The Sarpy Creek Ranch is about 12 miles south of the Yellowstone River where you will find good fishing and migratory birds. A 35 to 50 mile drive gets you to the Big Horn River and “blue ribbon” trout fishing! Hysham is the county seat…a small ranch town of about 200 to 300 friendly people. Hysham has a full Ace Hardware store and lumber yard.
